Description Of The Program: This program will begin as an introduction to accounting and it will cover advanced accounting functions and cost accounting. Financial concepts such as the accounting equation, definitions of assets, liabilities and equities, as well as basic financial statements will be discussed. An added component to relate this basic accounting information to the real world will include practical concepts used in computerized accounting. This program requires 160 hours of instructor-led classes and 160 hours of mandatory lab hours.
